Behind the scenes at Reincarnation

An inspiring location provided a fresh look for some of our latest designs in a fun (but busy) photo shoot.

Choosing the right spot for a Kovacs photo shoot can be tricky. Any location must be easy to access, away from the weather and happy with a little bit of organised chaos. That’s why, more often than not, we’ll use the Kovacs showroom. It’s a beautiful, adaptable space that works well with lighting and staging.

However sometimes you just need a change in scenery. That’s why we were so happy when Reincarnation kindly offered their premises for a shoot. The nearby design store was the perfect space and everything clicked comfortably into place.

Over one and a half days renowned local photographer Stephen Goodenough got to work behind the lens. All up we created seven different settings and used ten different models in the shoot. Ensuring the right amount of style could be packed into each frame was a group effort, the collaboration between the Kovacs team, Sally Molloy-Evison and Jude Sutherland from Voila working well.

We can highly recommend a visit to Reincarnation too. The Opawa home décor store is filled with beautiful works behind its large wooden doors. Inside too is a bustling workshop where stunning handcrafted wooden furniture is made. We featured a beautiful custom two drawer oak console of theirs in our setting with the Morgan modular lounge and Spyder Chair
